Winter Weather Propane Delivery FAQs
1/29/25
How Can I Prepare for Future Inclement Weather?
- Remember, order a full tank refill BEFORE any winter storms!
- Order more propane when your tank level reaches 30% (refills are automatically scheduled for customers on our Auto Delivery program). This gives us plenty of time to secure your fuel, load it onto the truck and make your delivery. It also takes into account road conditions, closures, and all the possibilities we face during the winter.
- If you aren’t signed up for our Auto Delivery program, please be sure to reach out to us to schedule your refill when your tank level is at 30%. Log in to the mySuperior Portal for instructions on how to read your tank’s gauge.
How Do I Sign Up for AutoDelivery?
- We highly recommend signing up for our Auto Delivery program so you can rest easy knowing you will not run out of fuel when you most need it.
- It’s easy to sign up online via the mySuperior Portal.
I’m Worried About Paying for Auto Delivery.
- We offer an equal payment plan called the Budget Pay program. Budget Pay allows you to avoid large bills during the heating season by evenly spreading your payments throughout the year.
- You may enroll by calling (833) 241-9005 to be enrolled by a budget specialist.
When Will I Receive My Delivery?
- Although we make every effort to deliver your propane as quickly as possible, delivery times may be extended due to increased demand across all our service areas. Our standard delivery time can take up to 14 business days in extreme weather, cold, snow, or ice.
- To help make sure you always have enough propane, it’s important to update us if your usage changes (for example, if you renovate or add appliances) so that we can consider rightsizing your tank to make sure you have enough propane to match your needs.
- We begin scheduling deliveries when the tank level reading is approximately 30%. This gives us plenty of time to get to you.
How Can I Help Expedite My Delivery?
- Practice proper winter tank maintenance. Clear snow off your tank so that the sun can help it melt.
- Keeping the tank and surrounding area clear of snow also ensures a quick and safe propane delivery for your driver.
- Make sure your driveway is clear of snow and ice for the delivery truck.
- Flag your propane tank so that drivers can locate it in the snow.
