Kimberly Saxton, Director, Customer Experience

Kimberly Saxton, Director of Customer Experience, joined Superior Plus Propane in October 2020, bringing with her over 20 years of expertise in customer experience and digital transformation across diverse industries.

With seven years dedicated to working in the propane industry, Kimberly’s role involves orchestrating strategies that go beyond the transactional and aim to build stronger customer relationships. This involves streamlining processes, enabling self-service options 24×7, and proactively communicating relevant account information.

Collaboration is the Key to Success

When asked what aspect of her role at Superior Plus Propane Kimberly finds most satisfying, she replied, “One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is collaborating cross-functionally with people across our organization. Working closely with my team, we confront challenges head-on, striving for solutions that enhance the experience for both our customers and employees. The positive feedback we receive from CSRs and customers regarding the impact of our improvement initiatives serves as a powerful motivator. This feedback truly energizes our team, inspiring us to consistently refine processes for an increasingly exceptional customer and employee experience.”

Reflecting on projects that have brought her immense satisfaction, Kimberly highlights initiatives that set Superior Plus apart from competitors. Making it easier for customers to leverage our offerings and introducing additional channels for doing business, such as self-service on the portal and text notifications, have been particularly gratifying. The significant increase in customers enrolling in autopay, facilitated by automating manual steps, attests to the success of these initiatives.

Enjoying a Well-Rounded Life Outside the Office

Beyond work, Kimberly’s interests include travel (exploring new destinations), live music and sports.  She is a devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan and season-ticket holder, and also enjoys watching her son play college football. During the summers, Kimberly takes on the role of a boat captain for a pontoon on the Rehoboth Bay.
